Peacham Fall Fondo is presented by Wahoo Fitness, a sponsor of Ian's team, Katusha-Alpecin. Wahoo is a U.S.-based company providing tools to gather metrics within the fitness world, and especially in the sport of cycling.
Ian's Wahoo KICKR trainer has been integral in his recovery and return to fitness post-concussion. Likewise, Ian's KICKR makes it possible for him to train in Vermont in the...cooler months.
The beneficiary for this year's event is the LoveYourBrain Foundation, co-founded by Adam Pearce, the brother of former professional snowboarder Kevin Pearce. After Kevin had a near-fatal accident while training in 2010, his family founded LoveYourBrain as a way to bring awareness to the importance of brain health, treatment and recovery. LoveYourBrain's yoga/educational/retreat programs "are designed to build community, foster resilience, and help people understand the importance of loving your brain."

Ian became connected with LYB while attending physical therapy at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center following a serious concussion he sustained while racing in Italy. He has not yet been able to attend a retreat with LYB, but he has developed his own meditation practice as a part of his healing.
Woodbelly Pizza is providing the food and festivities following the ride this year. We are excited to have David and his crew in Peacham for the first time with Peacham Fall Fondo!
Food and a drink from Woodbelly Pizza is included in the cost of registration for those who have registered for the ride, and is also available for purchase.
Derrick of Genuine Jamaican will also be present as a food option for those not riding (or riding the 5$5K, for which food is not included) but looking to purchase food for a lunch option.
